This weekend, hundreds of the Worlds best snowmobile racers roll into Georgian Downs Innisfil, to compete at the “Royal Distributing Cup” National Snowmobile races.
Event promoters have trucked in over (400) dump truck loads of snow to build the challenging Snowcross race course…..The event will feature over (600) racer entries from across Canada and the USA. Local, Provincial and National racers will compete for CSRA Championship Points, Cash and Awards, and the prestigious “Royal Distributing Cup”.
Pro Open races start Friday night under the lights from 7:00PM – 10:00PM. The Friday nights events will feature (4) racing classes for (3) hours of non stop racing action. On Saturday and Sunday, Novice, Junior and Sport class races start at 9:00AM with the Rockstar Energy Drink Pro Open Main Events starting at 1:00 both days. There will also be some Vintage race on Sunday afternoon.
The Georgian Downs facility features Indoor Heated Grandstands and a Heated Club House Dining Lounge area overlooking the entire race course. Georgian Downs also features a OLG Slots Casino on site. For those new to the sport of Snowmobile racing, Snowcross racing is similar to Motorcycle Motocross.
Racers will compete (10-15) racers at a time in on a challenging ½ mile, snow race course featuring huge 100’ foot jumps, drop offs and moguls. Snowcross is a family sport with (38) different classes of competition for kids starting as young as 4 years of age. There are also classes for Novice and Junior boys & girls, Men & Women first time racers, Sport, Pro-Lite, and the World class Pro Open racers.
The Snowcross race course at Georgian Downs, will be set up on the Horse race course front straight area and the infield area, so spectators can view all the action from the Indoor Heated Grandstands and Clubhouse. All gate admission tickets permit Indoor seating. Outdoor viewing is also available from trackside bleachers.
All tickets for seniors 65+ and children 6-12 years of age are $10. Youth and Adult admission tickets are $20 Friday night and Saturday and $25 on Sunday. Spectator admission tickets will be sold at the Georgian Downs front entrance gates on race days. The gates open for Snowcross admission at 6:00PM on Friday night and 9:00AM Saturday and Sunday.

Media Interviews and photos: Photo’s on the race track and interview opportunities will be available with racers and track officials on site Friday from 2:00 - 3:00 PM There is also a autograph session for spectators and media to meet the Pro racers at 12:00 noon Saturday and 11:00AM Sunday.
