Transporting your ATV is pretty much a requirement for most of us looking to enjoy a day on the trails.
Ensuring your ATV makes it to your destination without damage is often left up to your choice of vehicle restraints. The brand of restraints that we trust most is STEADYMATE.
STEADYMATE offers one of the broadest selections of restraint products that we've ever seen and offers products for all types of Powersport vehicles.
STEADYMATE is also the only manufacturer that is 100% compliant with state and provincial working load regulations.
This means that your $10,000 plus investment is best protected from going through the front of your trailer in the event of a collision.
STEADYMATE also recommends that each strap used to secure a load, such as an ATV, should be able to hold the weight of the vehicle. We always use the Cinchtite strap with ratchet buckle and soft loops to secure and protect the ATVs that we transport.
We also follow the advice of STEADYMATE and secure our ATVs so they can't move in any direction. To do that properly, you need a strap on each corner of the vehicle, angled out and down at approximately 45 degrees.
It is important to note that rules and regulations concerning cargo restraints can change from state to state or province to province; so you need to be aware of these laws for any area you might travel to.
