Practice would have the Micks/Dickies/BDI Ford Fusion with the fifth fastest time and the team was very happy with the car. In qualifying Micks navigated the 1.53 mile temporary street course in a time of 68.681 posting the third quickest time. The No.02 would line up on the starting grid on the inside of row two to start the GP3R 100.
Later in the race Micks would put pressure on the No.27 of Andrew Ranger for lead but couldn’t make the pass andthe laps winding down Micks managed to hold off the third place car and crossed the finish line in second place."This Dickies/Beyond Digital Ford was really fast today so we are a little disappointed that we couldn’t hold the top spot," stated Kerry after the race. "On a positive though the car is awesome and just keeps getting better each time out. We just need a little luck and we will have our first win of 2010."
Micks settled into fourth spot at the drop of the green flag and six laps in the No.02 had moved into second. On lap 13 Micks made a pass on the No.84 of J.R Fitzpatrick to take over the lead.
With an early race caution on lap 16 and a double file restart Micks battled hard to maintain the lead, but after leading for 9 laps he fell back to second.

The No. 02 Dickies/Beyond Digital Imaging team head to Mosport Speedway next Saturday Aug. 21st. Micks sponsor Williamson-Dickie Canada Co. will be the headliner for theDickies 200. They will also crown the 2010 Canadian Worker of the Year in a pre-race ceremony. Finalists from across Canada will be on hand hoping to win the crown and drive away in the new Dodge pick up truck.
